Prequel

when evil grows bored it festerstw: death/manipulation/illnessmid way through the 14th century, the havoc devil had felt as though he had rather unfortunate luck to be possessed with so much power so late in life as his human shell started to fall apart. though he had his power as people always feared the promise of utter disaster, he could not fulfill his agency within the body he had been exiled to as a minor god. each day of creaking bones and shedding skin drew many away from him due his elder appearance. it was because of this he traveled to take advantage of where ever he ended up residing. he often brought sickness and terror pleasing himself by feeding on their souls and misery.it was during the time of the plague the he entered the village that [redacted] resided in. the boy just barely 20 at the time but he took kindly to the elder despite insidious deeds that took place outside of his realization. it wasn't too long as everyone in the village started to pass away from the disease, insanity & disaster. the village people blamed the new elder but the boy defended his friend. it was then the devil decided that he would be his prodigy.he manipulated the boy in that time. he started with his mind implanting the ideas of terror, pain, and havoc into his psyche as everyone around him died. he started there before he took the next step bestowing enough power for the boy to commit crimes that we not only nefarious but immortally wicked with no memory of the deed to drive guilt deep into his heart. finally, he ensured his parents and younger siblings all passed from illness, leaving the boy hated and alone.and when the boy came crawling to him to rescue from all he was at no fault for he struck a deal with the devil. the havoc devil would wipe his memory of the horror that bestowed him and what had happened if he struck a binding vow of his soul and body to allow him to live freely again.the boy granted the devil this vow.

ACT I

strike a deal with a devilborn in [redacted], he grew up in the village living a normal life until foreign travelers brought a sickness wiping out most the villages inhabitants. [redacted] being one of the few to live through the raging sickness, despite losing both parents and all of siblings, was offered a way to ensure he lived by these travelers upon discovering his survival. the boy who had lost everything was now obsessed with living and took the deal.

selfish decisions, terrible outcomesthe product of a man who attempted to escape death and grief in result became a cursed spirit and devil himself. Cursed to never die but to experience the deterioration of his body and age; thus, he must transfer his soul to a new body to maintain youth and power.

ACT II

dirty deeds done dirt cheaptw: murder/suicidehe lived with the travelers for a few years before growing bored of their company and parting. at that point he began living only for himself and his needs. he carried out the years doing different odd jobs and living in different areas of the world. he ran through romantic interests, friendships, and partnerships never fully committing usually only trying to take claim to their bodies. it wasn't until he met her that he started to take things seriously. their two year relationship being the longest he managed to commit to until his selfish ways crept resulting in their breakup and saebyul's murder so he could claim her body. but the body he was opting to stake claim to disappearing and he was captured and arrested for her murder. however he staged his suicide in that body and transferred his soul to the body of a cop to escape.

ACT III

have mercyit was only fate that they met again during her residency and he finally gained what he sought. however he could sense the power in this new form it wasn't a measly human shell but a more viable entity that had him one step closer to immortality. as his soul outpowered saebyul the body took on the shape of his soul changing the appearance completely. the only issue was her soul remained within it along with his. having retained all her memories and having many walks throughout life in his time, he opted find someone who could help him suppress her for good amongst her circles in their home country.
